Retreats

Canaan Retreats are a great way to get away, find solitude, find adventure, grow friendships and have fun. We are now in our 5th year of running retreat weeks and weekends and day events for area groups. To request a date for your group, simply click the link on the left-hand side and a member of our staff will follow-up with you shortly.

This year we have expanded our programs with the completion of our Phase I facilities. In addition to our rustic camping options, your group can stay in two brand new cabins, fully furnished with custom-built bunkbeds, indoor bathroom facilities, heat & A/C and spacious front porches. Also available is our multi-purpose building complete with a kitchen facility, meeting space for 120 people and A/V equipment. Or spend a day at our grand picnic pavilion overlooking the athletic fields.

We are also happy to announce a new feature to our programs this spring- The Canaan Wedding Experience. There is no better venue to betroth the one you love than on a beautiful island surrounded by the Catawba River.
